Security Policy

Security is a concern (or should be) for anyone that orders anything on the web.

The following are our security policies that we strictly adhere to:

Quite a few larger companies maintain an on-line data base of collected information.
This accepted practice can leave your information open to "criminals".

For this reason, all Wolfnet1.com, L.L.C. e-commerce products use a "form to email"
type of secure server (SSL) ordering protocol.

NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS WEB ACCESSIBLE!

This means that the information is transferred by means of 128 bit encryption while in transit.
While the order is setting in your email account at your ISP, it is protected by the ISP's firewall.
After you retrieve your email orders the information is deleted from the ISP,
as long as you have selected this option when setting up your email account.
To make sure of this, contact your ISP or email server administrator.

How do I know if the information I am sending is "secure"?

Both Netscape 4.0+ and Internet Explorer 4.0+ will show you!

Netscape

Netscape displays a small lock in the top/right corner of the browser control line.(figure below - right side)

If the page you are viewing is using a secure server (SSL) connection, the lock will close and a gold glow will appear around the lock.(figure below - right side)

When going to a page that is using a secure server (SSL) connection, you should
see a warning window pop up like the one below.
Make sure the "Show This Alert Next Time" button is checked!

This clearly states that you have requested a secure document.

Internet Explorer

A gold lock will appear in the bottom/right corner of the Internet Explorer window.
